Neighborhood Prayer Walk

Invite parishioners to form small groups and organize local prayer walks through their neighborhood. A neighborhood prayer walk involves walking through the streets of a neighborhood and praying for the specific needs and spiritual wellbeing of the people living in that neighborhood. You can choose one prayer, like the rosary, to pray while you walk, or put together a combination of prayers and songs. Walk with purpose, coming together to ask God’s blessing on behalf of that neighborhood. If you meet people along the way, explain the purpose of the neighborhood walk to them, and invite them to join you in praying for their neighborhood.
